Reminder: Your child does not have to be a perfect little model to get amazing photos. ❤️

If you’ve ever worried that your child won’t sit still, look at the camera, or smile on command, don’t stress. No need to apologize. Kids are meant to be silly, curious, energetic, and full of personality.

Sometimes the secret to getting those sweet smiles and genuine moments is letting them be themselves first. The goofy poses. The funny faces. The random dance moves. Letting them have a little fun often helps them relax, and that’s when the magic happens.

Some of my favorite images come from those in between moments when they’re just being kids.

So if you’re nervous about how your little one will do during their session, take a deep breath. I’ve got you. We’ll have fun, go with the flow, and capture memories you’ll cherish for years to come.

Thank you to my second photographer, Wild Three Photography, for assisting me with a wedding this past weekend! ❤️ It was so much fun getting to work alongside you and capture such a special day together.

I truly believe that some of the best things in this industry come from supporting one another. Getting the chance to collaborate, learn from each other, and serve our clients as a team is something I never take for granted. There’s enough room for all of us to succeed, and moments like this are a great reminder of that.

Family Generation photos are so often overlooked, and that is a shame because the finished product is such prized photograph for all of the family members involved. These photos capture and preserve the personalities of the old and young.

As families grow, I highly encourage members of each generation to gather together to create a portrait for posterity. Don’t wait. Life is too short. Make an effort to document your family every 2 years or anytime a new member is added to the family. I promise you will not regret it. So here is your sign to have your family generation photos done. I have so many ideas for this type of session for clients to be able to love. I can't wait to share them!

I couldn't be happier for Chris and Priscilla as they tied the knot this past Saturday!

These two are some of the sweetest people, and I am so thankful they chose me to be a part of such an important day. From all the laughs to the love they share, it was such a beautiful day to witness and capture.
