One sweet little birthday girl, a beautiful white dress, and all the pumpkins her heart could want. 🎃✨

This fall cake smash setup was giving soft, girly autumn magic—and she was absolutely precious in it. The cake was cute for about five minutes… then the smashing began, as it should. 😉

Newborn Session Questions 🤍

What age is best for newborn photos?

For those sleepy, curled-up newborn photos, I typically recommend scheduling your session during the first 1–3 weeks after baby arrives. Usually we say the sweet spot is 4 to 14 days. However, a big however! We photograph babies up to 4 or even 6 weeks old! And. They. Work. Beautifully.

That said—every baby is different! Babies don’t suddenly become “too old” for photos once they hit a certain number of days. 🤍

If baby is already here and you haven't booked yet, reach out! We can still create a beautiful gallery of this tiny stage.

Because somehow those little fingers, flaky toes and newborn snuggles disappear WAY too fast. 🥹

I love adding a fun setup (or two!) to newborn sessions. They’re only this tiny once, so why not have a little fun with it?! And she clearly understood the assignment. 😂💗

Nine months of this sweet little smile! 🥹💙

Sitting up, showing off those tiny teeth, and giving me ALL the personality. This age is seriously one of my favorites to photograph—they’ve changed so much from that sleepy newborn stage, but they’re still perfectly squishy and little. 😍

And those bare baby toes? I can’t. 🥰

Milestone sessions are such a fun way to capture all the little stages that disappear way too quickly.

TEN years old deserves more than just a quick birthday picture—it deserves the giant balloons, the fancy dress, a little sass, lots of laughs, and ALL the personality. 💕 And she absolutely nailed it!

I love birthday sessions at this age because they capture exactly who they are right now… before another year flies by way too fast. 🥹

I love how soft and simple these colors are with that late-summer field. 🤍🌿

Family photos don’t have to be complicated. Give me some pretty light, a field, coordinated-but-not-too-matching outfits, and your favorite people…and we’re good to go. 😍

And these two sisters? Definitely understood the assignment. 💚

Before we know it, those girls will be grown, and I have a feeling these are the kinds of photos that will mean more and more with every passing year.
