Happy World Photography Day. 🤍📷
The older Chris and I get, the more we realize that photographs are so much more than something beautiful to post or hang on a wall.
They become pieces of our lives we get to keep.
We may never get to go back,
but a photograph lets us visit them again.
The smiles. The laughter. The tears. The love.
The people we were. The people we loved.
One day, these photographs will hold people who have grown older, little ones who aren’t so little anymore, friendships that have changed, and loved ones we would give anything to hug just one more time.
And that is why we will never take this job lightly.
Every wedding we photograph, we know we’re not just capturing how your day looked. We are preserving how it felt—the nervous hands, the happy tears, the way your parents looked at you, the laughter with your favorite people, and all those tiny moments you may not even realize happened.
Because long after the flowers are gone, the music stops, and the day becomes a memory…
the photographs remain. 🤍
What a privilege it is to freeze a little piece of someone’s life forever.
Happy World Photography Day to everyone who understands just how priceless a photograph can become. 📷✨
