There’s just something about film.

Shot on the legendary Nikon F6 with a 50mm f/1.4 Nikon lens and moody Ilford HP5 400. That little bit of grit, that punchy contrast… I love it. These are straight from the developer, no edits. Black and white strips everything down to the light, the moment, the feeling. No distractions. Just the story.

This is the look I keep coming back to.

A garden, golden hour, and a love story we’ll never forget. 🌸

This weekend we got to photograph an unforgettable wedding at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park. The bridges, the koi ponds, the quiet paths lit up after dark… and just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, the sky put on a show we’ll be talking about for years.
