Ok, I am busted--we played almost 90 percent of this portrait session.

But seriously, Mary-Kate and Jon were married nearly 9 years ago, and we loved photographing them then...but getting to see them with their beautiful family is really special.

This summer has been so good for a million reasons. Lots of sunshine, beach days, beach sessions (which I don’t mind at all), and so many beautiful weddings that I can’t wait to share.

Just a few years ago, Maria and I photographed Caitlyn and Travis's wedding. And in those few years they have made their house feel even more homey and filled it now with two sweet little girls. What a gift!

Welcome, Scottie! Just a few images from her newborn session, although both girls definitely had my attention. Having a toddler in the mix brings a whole new level of fun to a portrait session…and to life in general. 🤍

Meghan and Steve at Cranbrook. They often walk the gardens to get out of the city and into nature. It made sense that we planned their session where they feel at home outside. The grounds were gorgeous and we just wandered and laughed and let the sun shine on our faces.

They are lovely people.

Hannah and Jacob are getting married. The Literary Hideaway let us stop in and sneak in a few photos. It was a gorgeous evening on Grosse Ile.

Congrats Andrew and Amanda! We stopped into since this is where they had their first date and they graciously let us take a few photos before we headed over to Michigan Central.

Andrew is a dear friend and we are SO excited for this chapter for both of them. We already love you Amanda!
