Taylor and Tommy are MARRIED!!!

So, I've been waiting for this wedding for a long time! All. Year. Long. Literally! Taylor and Tommy booked me on January 2nd and I had been patiently waiting for their day for almost eleven months!

Taylor and Tommy are a super fun couple! And they obviously have a LOT of close friends, with the bridal party consisting of 10 bridesmaids, 10 groomsmen, two flower girls and a ring bearer! Wow, it was hard to get them all in one photo! But we did and they were all spectacular!

And you couldn't ask for a more magical place to be married! Especially in the fall, when the grape leaves are starting to change color. Absolute beauty. The only thing more beautiful was the bride!

Sometimes my portraits are of humans. Sometimes they are not. This one was from a while back with a super-cute named Winnie. She was diagnosed with cancer and her parents wanted me to take some photos of her to remember her by. All the feels, right?!? I absolutely LOVED spending the afternoon with them all!

Katie and David are MARRIED!!

After a gloomy Friday finished off, Saturday morning was glorious and clear! A light breeze blew and a hint of fall was in the air. What a wonderful day for a wedding!

These two are adventurers through-and-through. They have been literally all over the place! More states, parks, trails and campgrounds that I can count. And they just happened to be in the middle of an extended stay in the mountains of southwestern Virginia for their wedding!

Katie and David are photographers also, and I must say how much of an honor it is to be picked by fellow photographers to capture their wedding day! To add to their awesomeness, they were super chill and we all had a great time!

Melissa & Matt are MARRIED!!

This past Saturday, tucked away in the picturesque mountains of central Virginia, these two got married! I don't know that I've ever seen two people happier and more in love than Melissa and Matt! The day was beautiful, the party was bumping and everyone had an absolute blast! It sprinkled a TINY bit during the reception and it created the most beautiful rainbow RIGHT. OVER. THE. VENUE. Can you believe it? Check out the pictures to gaze upon it's beauty!
