CHRISTMAS IN THE PINES IS BACK! 🎄

One of my favorite holiday traditions is returning to the beautiful pines at Letchworth State Park, and this year these sessions are giving back, too.

50% of all proceeds from this year’s Christmas in the Pines Mini Sessions will be donated to the SPCA in Attica, NY!

📍 Trout Pond at Letchworth State Park
📅 November 7 | 2–4 PM
📅 November 8 | 10 AM–12 PM

Each session includes up to 5 family members, with additional family members welcome for $10 per person.

Please note: Because these sessions are outdoors, you MUST also be available the following weekend at your same scheduled time in the event of inclement weather.

Backup dates:
November 14 | 2–4 PM
November 15 | 10 AM–12 PM

If sessions need to be moved due to weather and you cannot attend your corresponding backup date/time, refunds will not be provided.

Come get cozy in the pines, update those family photos, get your Christmas card photo checked off the list AND help us give back to animals in our local community.

Spots are limited — booking is now open!

It’s always an honor to be featured in my hometown local paper, but even more of an honor to have my photos be considered “National Geographic quality” 🥹 Thank you to Lorraine Sturm for featuring me and sharing my Alaska adventure!

I’m taking a break from Alaska footage for a quick second to fill your feed with this incredible micro wedding I did yesterday with Katherine + Kevin at Watkins Glen.

They started their wedding day with just the two of them. Hiking, laughing, smiling, not being afraid to get a little wet and dirty. They reminisced on how they first met, their first hike at the gorge together, and other special moments in between. Afterwards, we went back to their Airbnb where they got ready for their ceremony with their closest friends and family.

Katherine was in her wedding dress making chimichuri for the steaks and Kevin was muddling mint and blueberries while cracking jokes with family. It was an incredibly wholesome day and I truly am so excited to share more from their day.

Feeling so grateful that they chose me and trusted me to be with them. I hope you can feel it in the photos as much as I do and how just a glimpse of their day filled my soul with so much happiness 🫶🍃

These photos might mess up the aesthetic of my feed and I genuinely don’t care anymore.

First things first — photo credit to my sister, because these were taken on an iPhone, not one of my professional cameras. But when I look at them, I don’t see whether they match my feed. I see how ridiculously happy I am.

A couple of years ago, Alaska was still something I was dreaming about. And somehow, I had these exact photographs in my head — a bear standing at the waterfall. An otter swimming through the water. An eagle down in the water. I could picture them before I ever knew if I’d actually get the chance to photograph them.

Not only those photographs, but so many moments I never could have planned for or imagined. I came home with images that mean more to me than I can really put into words.

So yeah, maybe these iPhone photos don’t perfectly fit the photography-page aesthetic. But they show the person behind the camera absolutely beaming because she just got to photograph things she had dreamed about for years. And that feels a whole lot more important to me now than having a perfectly curated feed.

And I’m SO excited to finally share that some of these photographs will be hanging in my gallery at Captivated Studios AND at the SilverLakeBrewingProject for the entire month of October. 🥹

The prints will also be available for purchase! I won’t have everything officially available until next week, so stay tuned for those details.

For now, I’m just letting myself be really freaking proud and excited that something I once pictured in my head is now printed, hanging on a wall, and about to be shared with all of you. 🤍

Huge thank you to Bay Photo Lab for these beauties as well! Cannot wait to order more from you!
