If you happened to catch KDKA last night, this beautiful girl may look familiar! Maybelle helped me share the importance of end-of-life pet photography sessions and why these memories matter so much.

I’m incredibly grateful to Kristine and KDKA for sharing this story and helping spread awareness about pet photography and end-of-life sessions. I’m also so thankful to Maybelle, her dad Chris, and her mom Joy for trusting me to capture such an important chapter in their lives.

Admittedly, I was a little nervous being in front of the camera for once, but sweet Maybelle completely stole the show. She was an absolute natural!

And the best part? We absolutely did not plan this, but the day of Maybelle’s session was actually her gotcha day! What a beautiful way to celebrate the day she became part of her family.

I know these photos will be cherished by Chris and Joy forever. And I’m so incredibly grateful that I get to do something I truly love while creating memories that mean so much to people and their pets.

Thank you, Maybelle, for being the star of the show. You were perfect, my girl!

Sweet Bacchus crossed the rainbow bridge shortly after his session with his mom, dad and little brother, Kratos.

Bach was the most laid back boy who was just happy to be there for the ride. He loved snuggles with his mom and wrestling with his brother. They had a little match at our session and I couldn’t help but laugh. They looked like two little piggies rolling around in the grass! I was even fortunate enough to be gifted a smooch from Bach who I’m told doesn’t give those out often!

What I couldn’t help but notice was the warmth between him and his momma. He was her soul dog and the way they looked at each other spoke more than any words could. My heart shattered when she messaged me with the news shortly after we were together. It was like he waited so that she could have these memories before he left this world.

I hope, in time, these photographs bring more smiles than tears and remind you of the goofy, loving, gentle boy who made life a little sweeter simply by being in it. Bach may have only been with us for a short time after our session, but he left behind a lifetime of love, memories, and the sweetest little piggy wrestling matches to cherish forever. Run free, sweet Bach. You were so very loved.

Some events hit a little closer to home, and this is one of them.

I’m honored to be attending a fundraiser for canine cancer research on September 12, 2026, where I’ll be setting up a pop-up studio booth for the day.

For $50, you’ll receive 3 beautiful digital portraits of your dog, and 50% of every session will be donated directly to canine cancer research.

This cause means more to me than I can put into words. Five years ago, we unexpectedly lost our soul dog just one week after her 8th birthday to hemangiosarcoma. It’s a silent, aggressive, and absolutely heartbreaking cancer that steals dogs from their families far too quickly.

Coincidentally, one of my longtime followers also lost her beloved Lab, Jake, to the very same disease. After his passing, she turned her grief into something incredibly meaningful by organizing this event in hopes that future families won’t have to experience the same devastating loss.

I’d love to see some familiar faces there, capture some beautiful portraits of your pups, and support a cause that means so much to so many of us. I hope you’ll join us on September 12!

I was incredibly honored to attend the Beaver County Best in the Valley Gala as a 2026 finalist!

While I didn’t take home the award, I couldn’t be more grateful to have been nominated in the first place. Being recognized alongside so many amazing local businesses was truly an honor.

To everyone who took the time to vote for me, thank you. Your support, encouragement, and belief in what I do mean more than I can put into words.

It was such a memorable evening, and I’m beyond thankful to have shared a room with so many of Beaver County’s most loved businesses. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and finalists!

Perfection is forgettable. Personality is what you’ll treasure!

Troy’s wonky ear isn’t something to “fix” or hide. It’s part of what makes him unmistakably him. The little quirks, crooked smiles, gray muzzles, missing teeth, floppy ears, and goofy expressions are the details that tell your dog’s story!

The best pet portraits aren’t about creating a perfect dog. They’re about preserving the dog you love exactly as they are. Years from now, those unique features will be the first things you remember.

What could be sad about having a new puppy? The fact that they don’t stay that little for long. 🥺 Puppies change so fast and sometimes we don’t always remember just how they looked or their silly little behaviors. Unfortunately, I can’t capture that puppy breath for you to have forever but, I can handle the rest!
