Hidden garden with these two🙌🏼🍃

A few weeks back I put out some spots for hidden garden mini sessions and Megan & Trevor ended up booking one. It was their first couples shoot, but they made my job way too easy. We found a little hidden spot, hung out, messed around, and just let things happen. They were awesome to work with and I think that really shows in these.

Level 31☝🏼

Typically, like clockwork, I post birthday photos that always double as a yearly branding campaign. But after doing some self-reflecting, I realized something: I don’t have to spend this moment reminding people what I do.

Over the years, I’ve been blessed to build something through photography and to have the support and community that comes along with it. For that, I’ll never stop being grateful.

But this year, these photos aren’t about the photographer, the business, or the brand.

They’re about the person behind all of it.

Jona.

Someone who has experienced life in all of its highs and lows, made mistakes, celebrated wins, faced challenges, loved deeply, lost, laughed, and kept moving forward.

I’m grateful for the person I am today, not because I have everything figured out, but because every version of me along the way played a part in getting me here.

So here’s to Level 31.

To more life. More memories. More laughter. More love. More moments worth remembering.

Here’s to being present for it all🙏🏼

Sorry, she can’t come to the phone right now… she’s currently in a meeting. 🌊📞

I’ve been wanting to do a creative shoot that has absolutely nothing to do with weddings for a while now. Wedding season keeps me pretty busy creating for my couples, and while I love what I do, I think it’s important to make room for creating something just because you want to.

Doing something completely different in the middle of a busy season helps me stay creative, keeps things from feeling repetitive, and honestly just gives me a chance to have some fun with an idea that’s been sitting in my head.

So if you’ve had some random creative idea you’ve been wanting to try… go make it. Even if it makes absolutely no sense. 😂

A surprise, years in the making. 💍

A few weeks back, I got to be part of a pretty special one at Boldt Castle.

The castle has been a special place for Natasha and her family for years, so it was the perfect spot for this. Her mom and I worked together behind the scenes to make sure Joseph didn’t have to stress about a thing.

Natasha thought it was just another day at the castle. She had no idea.

Pretty cool one to be a part of.

I guess the universe decided there was one more person who needed to be at their wedding🙌🏼🥹

Earlier this week I mentioned I had photographed a session that was especially meaningful. This is the one.

I met these two through a mutual friend at Country Roads, and what started as a conversation eventually turned into me photographing their wedding in 2027.

A few weeks ago, Alexis gave me a call and said,

“2027 is going to be crazy.”

She wasn’t kidding.

Before they walk down the aisle, they’ll be welcoming their first child into the world.

Moments like this are exactly why I picked up a camera in the first place. It’s more than taking photos it’s preserving the moments that become part of a family’s story.

Congratulations to you both, and thank you for trusting me with this chapter.

I’ll see you in 2027… this time with one more little guest in attendance.

Every branding session starts with a story.

This one started with Jacquelyn’s.

Before anyone stepped in front of my camera, Jacquelyn shared her vision.

She wanted her brand to reflect the women she coaches, not one body type, not one background, not one definition of beauty.

She wanted every woman to feel like there was a place for her.

As a photographer, that’s the part I love most.

My job isn’t just to create beautiful images. It’s to understand the heart behind a brand and translate that vision into something people can see and feel.

Every woman who stepped in front of my lens brought something different.

Different stories.
Different experiences.
Different definitions of strength.

That’s what made this campaign so powerful.

The best branding doesn’t ask people to fit into a mold.

It invites them to see themselves in the story.

The forecast said rain… the bridesmaids said, “Don’t worry, we ordered an Etsy witch.” 😂✨

Call it luck, call it magic, but the rain cleared just in time for the ceremony, and these two got the most beautiful day.
