Ok Friends, it's time we have a bit of an update! A year and a half ago I began to slowly switch things from Lions Den Photography to Daniel Husband Photography. The part that I was most slow on was the website. Well I can proudly now say that danielhusbandphotography.com has officially launched! I'm super proud of it and everything I've added.

With that said, I want to highlight something I'm now offering. For specific shoots you can request to do an underwater shoot! This has been something I've been building towards for years and I'm super excited to have this finally be available.

One last point! For the upcoming senior class of 2024, from now until May 27th if you book with me I am offering senior shoots at a discount of $175. This is a great deal to consider if you are or know anyone that's going to be a senior!

Again thank you all for the kind words and encouragement over these years. You all have been such a big light in my growth!

My wife, little one and I rented a cabin on the lake with some friends the other month and so I dusted off the old tripod for a pic. It has been quiet a while since I took a long exposure shot, but it was definitely missed. Hope you enjoy!

O hey! You might have noticed a new name and that I haven't posted in a while. Well you're right on both accounts! I originally made the change to Instagram months ago, but with new child and all that excitement I got a little side tracked. For those that didn't see that post. The name change was really me not hiding behind a name and recognizing myself as a photographer. With this I'm fired up with this year and what's getting planned. Speaking of! For the seniors of 2023, I am currently booking sessions. Anyone interested, as always please message me because I would love to chat about it. Appreciate you all!

Hey friends! With school starting for a lot of kids this week and the fact I need to play some catch up with what I've been up to, I thought I would start by posting an epic senior shoot I had a few weeks ago! Been meaning to post these pictures for a bit. Just a fun shoot at the sunken garden with some friends! Emily was one of my seniors back in 2017 so it was fun to shoot with her again. Here's to many more!

Holy snow storm! Last week when we were having a massive tundra hit us, I felt a heavy call to take pictures. Thankfully I have a very willing wife that was happy to help (with a trip to Barnes and noble afterwards of course). I think for all of us the time to push ourselves is when we make excuses for why we can't. I know for myself my best moments happen when I take that chance and ignore those excuses. Stay warm and motivated everyone!

Wanted to do a grateful shout out to my 2 incredible models! First to my beautiful wife Angelika who always helps me when I'm trying new ideas for shoots and there to encourage me when I can't get my ideas right. Second shout is to the wonderful Hannah! I have loved growing with you in my photography and your modeling, shooting with you will always be a blast!

This is a tough post. Jelly and I had to say goodbye to someone we never got to meet back in November. It's hard and I didn't think there could ever be that much pain. This has definitely been a season of trials for us with days that were filled with heavy hearts. In time we heal, God heals, He helped us heal through family, friends, passions and each other. Joy comes in the morning.

To Rose: Though your mom and I never got to meet you, know that you are forever loved and will always be cherished.

Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
