These are the photos I grew up with - taken by my mom who documented everything.
She didn’t let the ordinary moments disappear.
I didn’t understand what she was doing then, but those imperfect photos are the ones that made me feel something real.
This is why I love doing what I do. I’m not there just for the posed moments, but the ones that matter more down the road. That have longevity value.
Your photos are not just for your wedding day. They are for you when you’re in your 60s holding a worn album. And for your kids, and their kids.
My mom gave me that gift, and I love sharing that gift with you ❤️

Forgot to reorder business cards and someone asked you for one? Then just buy this! I wear it to weddings so when someone asks for my information, I ask them to pull out their phone, tap my wrist band, and open the link that pops up and then BAM! All my info is there!

Now of course, remind them to enjoy the day as well, but in little moments like portraits, family photos, cocktail hour… those 3 seconds of them having that little memory on their phone can mean so much.

Now that I got your attention (possibly), there is truth to this. Yes of course posting your work is important, but there is value in showing people how you work.
Ways to do this:
1. Hire a content creator
2. Invest in meta glasses
3. Get a second photographer to get some quick clips of you during moments they don’t need to be taking photos
4. Take videos yourself! (That won’t take away from doing your job) - you can put a phone mount on your camera 📸
This is a great way to connect with people and have them see you loving your job 👏🏽
