If you’re a mom in the trenches right now, can I be so real for a minute?
This season of life is the hardest one I’ve ever been in. Every day feels like a never-ending sea of laundry, cooking, cleaning, diapers, wiping boogers, navigating big little feelings… all while surviving on 4 hours of broken sleep, covered in spit up, and quite literally looking like Adam Sandler (iykyk 🤣).
Last night, while awake for the third time at 4am with my 4-month-old, I opened my photos app. You know how iPhones create those emotional memory slideshows? This one was called “Together.”
It was a collection of photos of me and my boys. Mostly pajama selfies, a few from photo sessions, and some Weston had taken.
And as I sat there nursing Benny and watching that slideshow, my eyes filled with tears.
Because one day they won’t fit in my arms anymore.
One day they won’t ask me to cuddle them to sleep.
One day they won’t ask me to play “the floor is lava.”
One day the house won’t be covered in magnatiles, marbles, and Legos.
And one day… all I’ll have left of this hard, beautiful season will be memories and photos.
And I don’t know about you, but I want to remember it.
That’s why I created The Motherhood Event- a curated portrait experience where moms can simply show up and do what they do best: love on their babies.
And in return, you walk away with beautiful images that preserve this fleeting season forever.
I’m just looking for two more mamas who want to step into the frame with their babies and remember this season forever.
If your heart is pulling you toward this, I would absolutely love to photograph you and your little ones.
