I saw my favorite band live for the 32nd time last night. Here's why I think that can help you trust me in my work:

📍I'm fiercely loyal.
📍When I love something, I'm all in. There is very little in life that I'm casually enthusiastic about. Know what else I love? Photography. And therapy.
📍If I have an emotional connection to something, it's deep. I haven't been listening to the same song for 30 years for no reason 😜 Know what else makes me feel connected? The stories I get to capture from behind the camera.

POV: You've spent the past few years living in a nursing home hours away from home because no local beds were available, and you finally get to come back home to live close to your family 💜

Sadly, this is not an uncommon situation--due to a shortage of available beds in skilled nursing facilities, people who are ready for hospital discharge are regularly moved out of their local area if a bed is available elsewhere. Meeting someone's medical needs is an important part of their care, but so is making sure their social and emotional needs are taken care of. The smiles here show just how much being close to the people you love matters, and I'm grateful to have been able to witness this reunion!
