When your 4th birthday comes just a couple of weeks after welcoming baby twin siblings, you deserve to be celebrated BIG! 🎉

And when I say we had a full-on party at the creek, I mean it! Cake for second breakfast, toes splashing in the water, bubbles everywhere, a little birthday reading, and the sweetest girl having the absolute best time.

This morning session was pure childhood magic...and she was SO much fun to celebrate! 💚🎂🫧

One of my greatest joys in photographing families is getting to watch them grow...

The first time I photographed this sweet girl she was 6 months old, barely able to sit up on her own, and she and a bunny sat on a blanket and completely locked eyes... it was so cute, and I will never forget that!

Now she's reaching over the crib looking at her new baby brother and sister... and I couldn't help but just smile with each photo as I edited these. It's amazing how early a bond can form, and I know she's fully embracing her big sis role!

These make the most gorgeous winter wonderland photos… a perfect gift for grandma, or hang on the wall each Christmas as a fun memory! The girls absolutely loved this last year… we danced and twirled to the Nutcracker suite and each girlie gets to take home an ornament.

It was such a JOY to capture this beautiful girl who is so gifted in her dancing ability! That type of hard work and dedication deserved an artistic photoshoot in the lilies and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it.

My mom and I were looking through old photos last night and we stumbled upon this gem. She told me that she had taken me to get Christmas photos and she was sooo worried I wouldn’t smile and that I would be scared.

Here we are… 39 years later and my mom still remembers what she felt and how excited she was with how the photos turned out… what’s precious is that she and I have this photo we can look at together, on her back porch, years later.

And maybe one day you will also find yourself on the back porch, with your grown children, remembering those details and you can share it with them. Photographs have a special way of pulling people and memories together.
