Every batch of Tejuino takes two days to prepare and after talking with my tío, you can see the pride, dedication, and love he puts into every cup. More than anything, he’s grateful for every single person who stops by to support him.

While I was in LA, I had the sweetest interaction with this beautiful soul. She gave me such a sense of motherly warmth and peace.

I went back and forth about sharing her location, but ultimately decided the safest thing to do was reach out to someone I trust. That’s why I contacted my friend hester jean lee , who has been doing incredible work supporting street vendors in LA.

This is a special day where I was able to sit down with a local legend Don Ananias known as “El Abuelito De Pilsen” and listen to his story.

At the end of our conversation I was able to surprise him with a gift from my amiga SNOW THA PRODUCT.

This is our way to give back to our gente who have given us everything and keep reminding us that true richness comes from the heart. 🙏🏽💙
