Today marks 14 years since I lost my son, Ryan. 🤍

If you’ve ever wondered where the “Ryan” in Ryan Sawyer Photography comes from, today is a little glimpse into why his name means so much to me.

Ryan may not be here for me to photograph his life, but his name lives on in something I’ve built with so much love. I’m incredibly grateful God gave me the opportunity to be his mom, even if our time together was far too short.

His life, and his memory, will always be a part of mine—and a small part of the heart behind what I do. 🤍

🤍 A little re-introduction…

If we haven’t met yet, I’m Traci!

I’ve loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember. I started taking photography more seriously in 2018, and in 2022, I took the leap and started my photography business.

But over the years, I’ve realized this is about so much more than taking pretty pictures.

My why is deeply rooted in my story. I know firsthand how precious memories are and how quickly life changes. Sometimes a photograph becomes more than just a picture—it becomes a piece of someone’s story that they get to hold onto forever.

And I truly believe God gave me this gift for a reason. He blessed me with the ability to see the beauty in a moment and freeze it in time, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. 🤍

I also believe that beautiful, meaningful photography shouldn’t be something only a few people can afford. You shouldn’t have to spend a fortune to have photographs that capture the people and moments that mean the most to you.

So whether it’s a growing family, a senior stepping into their next chapter, a wedding day, a new business, or simply a season of life you never want to forget…
