Lessons from Dallas Market:

This week I am helping out some friends by working their Showroom At Dallas Market Center for Gift & Apparel market.

TALK to people. You never know your connections unless you ask the questions. Not the salesy car sales questions but the honest questions.

Turns out the last group in the showroom was from a small town in West Texas that they were shocked I knew about. Turns out we had the same choral director, her in 1986 and me in 1987, nearly 500 miles apart.

Great chance to reminisce, establish rapport and create a new relationship for the showroom.

Can you believe it?! June 10th marked Judy Garland's 103rd birthday! This incredible woman, with just a skip down the Yellow Brick Road in 'The Wizard of Oz,' truly twinkled her way into so many hearts. And let's be real, dreaming of what's 'Over the Rainbow' still sends a little spark straight to my creative journey!

This quote ❤️ is just a perfect little reminder, isn't it? Whether it's the joy of a belly laugh, the warmth of a squeeze-you-tight hug, or the quiet magic of a sunset, some of life's richest moments are felt, not seen.

And how utterly fitting, especially this year, that the most precious gifts are often experiences rather than just "stuff"! How amazing when we can totally combine those two, right?
