Not every senior session fits inside a box... and that’s exactly why I love photographing Spokesmodel, Destany. 🖤

And of course, we couldn’t forget her favorite sidekick, Ryuk. 🐍 Watching the way she lit up while holding him made it so clear that the things we love become part of our story. Every detail of this session felt so her.

I never want my seniors to trade their authenticity to fit a mold. Keep shining, keep creating your own path, and keep proving that kindness, confidence, and individuality can go hand in hand.

When the Carters invited me out to their new farm to capture their first chapter, I couldn’t get there fast enough. There’s something about learning a story and finding a way to illustrate it. Celebrate it. Embrace it… I listened to the story of their beginning, their challenges, and their triumphs while we rode around the property and met some of the cutie cattle. All the while, the good Lord held a whole storm at bay until we were finished. Then, of course, I couldn’t get home fast enough to edit the shots. While I translate all of it from my eyes, to my heart, from my camera to my computer, I was smiling ear to ear knowing the blessings that are to come for Triple C and Shelby + Levi. Life is a series of little miracles and they were evident and abundant down there in Laurel Fork. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for them and I’m so honored to share a peek into what we were able to bottle up.

✨ I got a text! ✨
.. and my heart is full 🥹

The gallery is only half of what I hope my clients leave with. The other half is feeling seen, celebrated, and knowing their story was captured exactly how it felt… it’s worth more than any algorithm, like, or share.

Every message, every happy tear, every “I’m obsessed”, reminds me why I do this. These are reminders I come back to on hard days to keep going and the reason I fall in love with this job over and over again.

God undoubtedly blessed me with Seniors. Lauren is absolutely no exception. She is beautiful inside and out and this year’s spokesmodel team wouldn’t be complete without her. Despite the heat wave, my girl rocked her session last night! I have adored getting to know this family and have had the pleasure of photographing them at Wayside for a few years now. Being invited back to such a special place for these sweet girls is something I hold dear to my heart and has absolutely brightened my days. I hope they can cherish these photos for generations to come!
