I joined my husband's family a little late in the game. His nieces and nephews were older by the time they became "our" nieces and nephews. Luckily for me, I had the opportunity to photograph these 3 amazing kids for their senior photos, and get to know them one on one. It was really amazing to get to know these witty, intelligent, talented, and overall incredibly good people as they stepped into their final year of high school. It meant a lot to me ❤️

Happy ❤️ Listen, it's easy to curate an idyllic, peaceful breastfeeding scene. A flower dress, a cute baby, and an aesthetic place to sit. Bam. Done. And you know I LOVE me a curated scene. But for this breastfeeding session, we wanted to do something a little different. We wanted to show what real breastfeeding often looks like for moms of multiples. There's usually a lot going on!

I suggested we use Abbey's backyard because it's a wealth of activities for the kids. A pool, a swing, a garden, toys...There's life all around it! My goal from this shoot was to actively run away from "perfect" and towards "genuine beauty." I needed this shoot ❤️ it was good for my soul

Before and after of my favorite little guy fishing 🎣 I love creating images that mean so much to look back on. We know grandma Lou gave us the perfect outfit. We'll remember crafting the fishing pole at Papa's house. Asher will look at this and immediately recall the little fledgling robin we found by the bridge. A great photo is a great photo because of the way it makes you feel ❤️ This one makes me feel warm inside.
