there’s something so special about photographing a couple in the place where their everyday life actually happens.

their first home as husband and wife, and every room already holds a memory. the kitchen where they’ve burned (and perfected) recipes together, the living room that’s seen a hundred game nights and probably a few dance parties too.

coffee mugs and Red Bull cans on the counter, laughter in the hallway, the quiet kind of love that shows up in the little moments nobody else sees.

this is what i love capturing most. not just two people in love, but the home they’re building together, one ordinary, beautiful day at a time.

praying this home is always filled with the Lord’s peace, His presence, and so much love. so grateful to have been let into this season with them 🤍

It’s always a joy watching a dad hold his newborn, chase a toddler through the yard, or just sit close with a kid who needed him. It’s a small picture of something bigger. Thank you for being a beautiful example of our Heavenly Father’s love that is patient, present, and never lets go.

And we want to hold space today too, for the dads grieving a child, the men still longing to be fathers, and anyone whose relationship with their dad is hard. Today isn’t simple for everyone, and we see you.

To every father reading this, you are doing something holy. Happy Father’s Day. 🤍

Mother’s Day holds so many different stories.

For the moms in the thick of raising babies and the moms watching their children grow up too fast. For the women still waiting and praying for their turn. For the mothers who have experienced loss no one can fully put into words. For the daughters missing their moms today. For the foster moms, stepmoms, adoptive moms, grandmas, spiritual moms, and the women who love and care for others so naturally it feels like home.

Today is for all of you.

For the quiet sacrifices no one sees. The sleepless nights. The fierce love. The grief. The joy. The prayers whispered over children at night. The hugs that fix more than words ever could.

No two motherhood journeys look the same, but every single one carries a love that changes people forever.

And in so many ways, a mother’s love reflects the heart of Jesus. Gentle, patient, comforting, selfless, and steadfast through every season.
