I have so many gorgeous couples I want to share on here but imposter syndrome has been at an all time high lately! Sometimes I just wonder if people think I’m good enough or I just compare and then I get stuck in a “no posting spree.”

Today I said screwwwwwwww it. I’m going to post away!because I love my couples, I love the photos I get to take and it makes me happy to share.

Don’t let doubt win friends. Often times, we forget how talented we really are. 🤍

I absolutely used to DREAD using my flash when taking photos. I was the so called “only natural light photographer” for so so so so long and now, I LOVEEEEE using it.

Not only are Kelsi & Troy the most amazingly fun couple but their wedding day was one where it screamed intentionality and fun… hence the mix of flash and natural light. 🤩📸

On the 2.5 hour drive up to their venue, my second shooter Ivy and I were talking all about how it’d be so special to photograph a day where the couple put intention in their details but also just had that effortless-go-with-the-flow feel which always shows up so beautifully in images.

- YOU GUYS, Kelsi got blood on her dress from a cut on her finger before even seeing her man and was like, “meh” it’s fine!!! YES, you want the day to be perfect, yes the photos matter, but you could tell she was focused on one thing — living in the moment and giving zero 💩’s about anything but getting married to her man. DREAM BRIDE.

// HOT TAKE: 🔥I used to think up until recently that I HAD to post in order to be relevant. Truthfully, in this vast world of talented people, it can be hard not to throw pity parties when your posts only get 60+ likes and then I just spiral and start thinking “will I ever attract couples who just get me?!”

I met these two at the last wedding fair I attended and they were the only couple to book a FaceTime meeting with me on the spot - if you’ve ever been to a show, you know it’s like a metaphorical speed dating experience where couples are overwhelmed with wedding industry business’s cards being sent out left and right.

Right when we started to briefly chat, I just knew they’d be a perfect fit & was selfishly crossing all my fingers and toes they’d want to book. 🤍

Photographing Geniveve & Francis took me back to the days where creating art and having fun with the uniqueness and authenticity of the session was at the forefront of my mind. Having the opportunity to work with these two sweet souls was an incredible treat!

This session was a fever dream I never wanted to wake up from. Give me allllllllll the couples who are down to do whatever & be creative. 🎥🍿🎬🎞️🥰 //
