Also, I already know y’all (photographers) are gonna comment about how much money we make 😂 and while yes, payment is obviously relevant when talking about something being a career, can I challenge that answer a little? There are plenty of careers that are NEVER questioned as “real careers” that make less than we do.

So it’s so much bigger than that 🙌🏻✨

But also… yes, we can make good money 😂😂😂

The art I create for my clients has never felt like my own.

Art has never been just a “memory” to me. It can pull emotions you didn’t realize you had or forgot was even there. It can even make you feel things you didn’t realize were there.

Not once have I mentioned copyright to a client. Not once have I cared whether they shared their photos everywhere or chose not to share them at all. Because once I’m finished, those photographs are theirs to keep.

It’s their life. Their love. Their loss. Their memories.

I’m simply the person who was trusted to preserve it for them.

That’s why making my art is so important to me ♥️thank you for trusting me.
