Brad and Gloria moved to Missouri this year and dreamed of having a small, intimate wedding right in their own backyard. When the rain changed their plans, they created the most beautiful ceremony space in their basement—and somehow, it made the day feel even more intimate as they said “I do” surrounded by their closest family. 🤍

We were able to sneak outside between the rain and drizzle to capture some beautiful portraits of the two of them on their land, and I’m so glad we did. 😍

When they reached out about photos they had two things that were most important to them besides just beautiful couple portraits. The first thing was they said they wanted their bibles incorporated into photos because faith was such a major part of their lives and their relationship. The second was they wanted to do the photos at Janna's grandparents 100 year old farm. It’s graduation weekend for so many, and it felt like the perfect time to share some of the incredible graduates I’ve had the privilege of meeting over the last few months. I’ve truly loved capturing such an exciting milestone for each of them! ✨

I’m throwing it back today because I realized I never shared anything from this graduate’s session as he wrapped up his college football career and graduated back in December!

It has been so fun watching where life has taken him over the last few months since graduation.

This moment will forever be one I think about when I think of wedding portraits.

The ceremony had ended, family was heading to the reception, and for a brief moment, it was just the two of them — soaking in the beginning of a new chapter as husband and wife.
