I have never seen such a sweeter first look, I was in tears behind the camera. Every moment after that the smiles were always on; this wedding was so fun and lighthearted while also being so sweet and intimate. Oh and their dogs?!? The cutest!!! (Sorry Kona, not that my own dog can read, but I had to mention her anyway because she’d be jealousss to know dogs are allowed at weddings). The food also, I have to mention the food, because it was SO DANG GOOD. Thank you Josh + Noelle for having me capture your perfect day. 🤍

Rainy wedding days ☔️
Be prepared for unplanned weather: grab some clear umbrellas and go enjoy it.
On Meghan & Simon’s wedding day we switched around plans and took a lot of photos at Jackson, Michigan train station; which was beautiful and perfectly on theme for Meghan & Simon’s vintage themed wedding. They got married at Jackson’s First Congregational Church, which is 185 years old! And celebrated their reception in Meghan’s dad’s airplane hanger at Jackson airport. We ended the night clinking glasses in her dad’s private jet 😉 and flew away to the Bahamas… ok that last part was made up lol! But honestly?? This wedding was so crazy amazing! One in a million; just like Meghan & Simon 💛

Surprise! My special announcement is finally public: We’re expecting!!!
Unless we’ve been in contact through email, I am not taking any new inquiries right now. The last openings I have for pictures this year are my Holiday Mini slots!
I plan to have everything edited and delivered before I begin my maternity leave. This season of life I want to focus on family, and be present every day with them. I’ll be back to my work grind in the Spring.
Please pray for our family as we enter this new chapter, we’re so thankful for our boys. 💙🩵

Totally kidding, but he did take over for a few songs and honestly did so freakin’ good 😂 This wedding reminded me of a country love song; it was the best day spent out in Goodells, Michigan with Mr. & Mrs. Galbraith. 💛

Laura & Jason got married at Trillium Farm | Armada MI late August. She grew all of the florals herself. We celebrated under the twinkle lights in the barn, and even snuck off to their garden for some intimate photos with close friends and family. So vibrant, so beautiful. Their love story started somewhere in the early 2000s, meeting back with one another in their adult lives; this wedding day was truly a fairytale. 💛 Congratulations!

Let’s talk about toddlers and young kids for photo sessions: We can’t ask them to pose and smile, it just doesn’t work like that in their book. Let go of expectations and follow their lead, because those moments make for the best photos. If you’re frustrated, it’ll translate in your session when you receive the gallery back. Just have fun! And trust the process. ❤️
