I want to give a big "Thank You" to the brave women that follow me and commented on my last post.

First, I just want to say thank you.

A few days ago I asked a simple question:

"What keeps you from booking a bo***ir session?"

I honestly wasn't expecting so many thoughtful and honest responses.

Some of you said cost.

But the overwhelming majority of you shared something much deeper.

You told me you don't feel attractive.

You said you worry you'd look awkward.

You said you don't think you would like how you looked in the photos.

Reading those comments honestly made me a little sad... not because of my business, but because so many amazing women are carrying around those feelings every single day.

I want you to know that every single comment was read, and I appreciate every one of you who had the courage to be honest.

Over the next couple of weeks, I'd like to address some of the biggest fears you shared.

Not to convince anyone to book a session.

Not to pressure anyone.

Just to hopefully give you a different perspective.

Thank you again for trusting me enough to answer honestly.

I have an important question for all of my female customers past and present and all of my female followers.

Ladies, I need your honest opinion.

As a bo***ir photographer, I've talked with a lot of women over the years who have said they've always wanted to do a bo***ir session... but never actually booked one.

So I'm curious...

What's the biggest thing that stops you from booking a bo***ir session?

❤️ Cost?
❤️ Feeling nervous?
❤️ Not knowing what to wear?
❤️ Worrying about how you'd look in the photos?
❤️ Thinking you need to lose weight first?
❤️ Something else?

There are no wrong answers, and I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts.

This isn't a sales post. I'm not trying to convince anyone to book a session today. I'm simply trying to better understand what women are thinking and feeling when it comes to bo***ir photography.

We see them every day—the grease on the hands of our mechanics, the tired eyes of our nurses after a 12-hour shift, and the dust on the boots of our builders and construction workers.
Here at Unique Photography I am looking for the Backbone of Hampshire County.

I’m starting a new Fine Art portrait series to honor the hard-working men and women of our community! These aren't "pretty" studio photos—they are gritty, cinematic, and real. The attached photos are examples. These are not my photos. But what I have in mind for the series.

Here's how it will work....
- 20-minute cinematic session (at your workplace or my mobile setup). We'll shoot up to 5 photos.
- One 11x14 Fine Art Print.
- $75.00 to join the series
- If you want the digital files of the photos, they will be offered for sale for $25.00 for all photos.

YOU ALSO GET:
- A chance to be featured in The Backbone of Hampshire County Calendar at a later date.
As many people can join the series as they want. But only the first 12 will get to be on the calendar.

#9. Waiting Too Long

Most women wait 5 to 10 years too long.

They think they’ll feel “ready.” "I'll know when I'm ready to do it!"

Ready doesn’t magically happen.

It’s created.
