This side of me is the part you may sometimes meet here... And if that feels strange, get familiar. Luna is the current that runs beneath my skin, and in the summer, I let her run wilder...
It was 2017, and I was rising from the depths of muckness - I was recovering from severe heavy metal poisoning, an illness that almost took me out completely. I was physically weak, emotionally raw, and staring at the question: Who am I, really, without all the roles, masks, and shoulds?
In my process of healing, I started to experience lots of synchronicities. They were delivered in various forms, but this one, was in the form of a “download”, like a whisper. The words? “Goddesshood.” And I knew it was a calling.And I answered.
Goddesshood (and Luna) were born to speak to the women who’ve taken the choppiest waters and used them as a launching pad to access their inner legend.
Because when sh%t gets real… it’s time to be legendary.
I’m talking about the modern goddess, a league of women who, even in times of almost unimaginable repression, refuse to fall victim to self-doubt and disempowerment. Women who choose to connect with their turn-on, their life force, despite massive cultural resistance, and rise above the weight that’s meant to hold us down.
I created sacred spaces where we could strip away the layers of good girl conditioning and meet ourselves again. It started with small gatherings in my living room, every Full Moon. That is how “Luna” found me, and the circles grew. Later it expanded to co-ed and the circles were moved to the beach as our sanctuary for gathering.
Fast forward to three years ago and over 50 events under the full moon, that calling transformed and evolved to nurture this mission under the lens of artistry. I answered yet another "download" The Goddesshood Photography Project. It become my creative summer's outlet where photography meets ceremony.
It is for women who are ready to be legendary. I design this type of photoshoot to feel like a ritual, a rite of passage, a way to connect with parts that need to be lit on, integrated, and embodi
