🐾🤎
I will never say no to adding your family pet into your session.
Actually… I encourage it!
Because they aren't just a dog.
They aren't just a cat.
They aren't just a pet.
They are the one who was there when you brought your babies home.
The one who curled up beside you on the hard days.
The one who sat at the door waiting for you to come home.
The one who watched your children grow up.
The one who has been there for birthdays, holidays, backyard adventures, lazy Sundays, and all the ordinary little moments that somehow became your life.
They are family.
And I don't ever want you to look back at your family photographs years from now and realize someone important was missing.
Because our babies grow up.
Our families change.
Our children get older.
And unfortunately, our four-legged family members don't get to stay with us forever.
One day, you may look at that photograph and wish you could reach through it and feel their fur again.
Hear their little tags jingling.
See that goofy face.
Remember exactly how they used to sit beside your kids.
That's why they belong in the picture too.
So bring the dog. Bring the cat. Bring the old, grumpy, spoiled, wild, can't-sit-still member of the family.
Let them run. Let them lick faces. Let them make a mess. Let them be themselves.
Because when I photograph your family, I want to photograph your whole family.
And if that means I spend half the session chasing a dog around with my camera, so be it!
Some of the photographs you'll treasure most aren't the perfectly posed ones.
They're the ones that remind you of who was there.
And I want to make sure they're there. 🤎
