with all the smoke settling in the Umpqua Valley this morning 8/7/24 I was up early and on my way home I saw the Sun rising over the mountain around 7am. I came home and got my camera because its not everyday you can fully look straight at the sun without it hurting your eyes. With the smoke and cloud cover I was able to capture the Sun through the smoke this morning.

The Aurora Borealis was absolutely stunning tonight. I never would have imagined I would have been able to see it and photograph this amazing wonder in my home state of Oregon. Let alone just 30 minutes east of my home. Taken 5/10/2024 between 10pm and 12am 5/11/2024 at swift water park east of Glide, Oregon.
