When nature back-hands trees. Back on June 15, 2022, a squall line brought tornadoes and downburst swaths to Northeastern Wisconsin and far Southeastern Upper Michigan. Here was one of many swaths, bringing down a couple hundred trees itself.

We are unfortunately past peak color (already) here in Marinette County, Wisconsin. The drought stress and wind have not been doing us any favors. Some trees are just simply dropping their leaves. There were vibrant spots, but you oftentimes had to go out of your way to find them. Personally, I'm alright with that.

Nice lightning show and outflow boundary last night near Beaver, Wisconsin. Unfortunately, these will likely be the last thunderstorms of the year, or at least in my area. These were also the only long exposure shots I got, because it kept raining ahead of the storms. Videos to come soon!

July 20, 2026. Taken from near Middle Inlet, WI, looking northwest. This dying Supercell put up a final attempt at dropping a tornado. Interestingly enough, this Supercell, in spite of multiple attempts, could not produce a tornado. But showers, some barely registering on radar mind you, dropped several tornadoes!? Nature being weird.
Also, sorry about the shakiness. It being sped-up, and the fact I originally filmed this horizontally, mean the shakes are more noticeable.
