I debated on posting this project I did a while back but honestly with May being I wanted to share this.
•
I wasn’t in a great headspace at the beginning of last year. I got out of a long term relationship that had some lasting effects on me during the middle of the pandemic, I was going through financial struggles, and lost my job at the first quarter of 2020. To spare the details, I was a mess.
•
I’ve kept all of my problems to myself and not admitting that I was a mess. I was shapeshifting my life to fit with whatever was around me and going with the flow.
•
With time, I’ve realized that’s not something I should do. I have amazing people around me who I talk to every day and that are willing to help. Even when i don’t ask.
•
Moral of the story, people who struggle with mental health should not do what I do. I kept everything in the back of my mind instead of letting things go or even letting myself talk about my issues. This is hard to admit, but it’s something that needs to be made aware of.
