When I started my business 5 years ago I easily found my niche with newborn photography, having a newborn at home myself and navigating single motherhood had me burnt out and for awhile I hadn’t photographed a newborn and I MISSSSSSSS IT! 🥹🥹

I have always been such a raw, candid and honest person.
I never shy away from the authenticity that makes me, me.

I started my photography business 3 years ago as I was preparing to leave an abusive marriage, I started this business so that I could still be a present mother to my two girls while earning enough money to be free from the toxicity that was all consuming.

As I navigated the transition to single momhood, taking on all financial responsibilities and healing from trauma, my business never got the attention it deserved and so desperately needed to flourish into all I had planned for it to be.

Friends, let me be the one to tell it is never too late to start again.

Here is to starting over, realigning with your purpose and pursuing it wholeheartedly.

I myself grew up an only child and I wonder how much different life would be had I been blessed with a built in best friend, because y’all, making friends in todays society is not as easy as it once was.

Happy Tuesday! I have an announcement to make.

Wooded Bliss Photography will be moving to a word of mouth business structure.

For personal reasons I do not wish to be on social media any more and Facebook requires that my business page be tied to a personal account.
After weeks of feeling torn and just conflicted I decided my mental health and peace were more important than feeling like I HAD to have a Facebook or IG page to be successful when honestly my business has been primarily word of mouth anyways. 🫶🏽

In the next few weeks I will be launching my official website where my work, and contact information will be at all times, and you’ll notice that all social media accounts for Wooded Bliss and my own personal accounts will be removed for the foreseeable future.

Friends who are waiting for galleries, thank you for your patience!

You can expect your gallery by the end of next week. 🫶🏽

I have so much new work I can’t wait to share with you all. I have been preparing my home for a move for the last six weeks and that transition is happening next week, BUT once I’m back up and running in our new home I will be able to post all the fun things I’ve been up to.
