Pink lake, vibrant blue sky, and golden hour meeting them at the horizon…. It doesn’t sound real does it?

🌸🌊☀️ This experience was so surreal! The famous pink lake here in Utah really is THAT PINK 🤩 I was so excited as soon as it came into view I kept yelling in the car “it’s pink! It’s pink!” Definitely need to make this an annual thing. And how precious it was to get some golden hour photos of the cute mommy go be? 😊✨

Thank you for making this such a memorable trip (and it was memorable… half of us were half naked on the drive home 😳😅) sorry it took so long to post!

✨Sometimes I write songs or poems and this one seemed to fit better than any caption I could come up with;

“she lived day by day through blood sweat and tears,
but with those tears she cried a river to grow food and flowers upon the bank.
With that sweat she salted the bland food and brought a flavor like no other.
And with her blood she painted a beautiful picture and grew her talents beyond what others even comprehended.

Life is tough, but when you find purpose, excitement, and beauty with it you have truly lived.”

What a wonderful gift I’m given to watch those I love build the life they dream. This girl has worked harder than most and continues to do so. I am so excited and proud of her!

No words 🤍🥹 I just can’t wait for every moment to follow from here. Because I get to be there. I get to steal this moment of time and one day share it with you. When all the bad days come I get to remind you of all the good that can come from those. There will be times that you cry and I’ll cry with you, times that you laugh and I laugh with you. You’ll come for me for advice and I’ll just pretend I know what I’m doing in life even though I really don’t 😅 I will be there to save those memories for you at all the big moments in your life… and then you’ll get to share those same moment with your baby boy. 🕊️ I love you

🌻Meadows milk bath & 1 year Breast feeding journey 🕊️

DID YOU KNOW??

1. Breast feeding is basically a full-time job.
Nursing one baby for a year adds up to about 1,800 hours. A full-time job (with vacation!) is 1,960. So yeah… moms are clocking in and working overtime.

2. Your body’s running a milk factory 24/7.
Making breast milk burns around 500 extra calories a day—that’s like running seven miles every single day. No wonder moms are starving all the time.

3. Milk-making takes more energy than your brain.
Producing milk uses up about 25% of your body’s energy—more than your brain’s 20%. So if you can’t remember where your phone is (again), that’s “mom brain” doing its thing.

4. You’re running on no sleep.
Babies eat every 2–3 hours, even at night. That means moms are getting chopped-up, low-quality sleep while their body is working double-time. Basically, it’s like pulling a year-long night shift.

5. Your body gives before it takes.
When nutrition is low, your body will literally take nutrients from itself to keep making milk. Think of it as your body saying, “Don’t worry baby, I’ll handle it,” while running on fumes.

6. It’s emotional, physical, and mental gymnastics.
Sore ni***es, cluster feeds, pumping, leaking, worrying about supply, finding time to eat—every part of your body and brain is in on this. It’s beautiful… and brutally hard.

Sometimes no matter how hard you try it just doesn’t work out. So whether you did it for a year, a month, a week, or bottle fed. I just wanted to tell all the moms out there that you’re doing a good job. 🤍🥹

“A daughter may outgrow your lap, but she’ll never outgrow your heart.” 💕

What a blessing it is to have a daughter, to watch her dress up and pretend to be a princess when you already know she is one. Keeping dad wrapped around her finger and trying to feet her little feet in mom’s high heels. 🥹

I just want to say I love my job. I love seeing every step of your guys life unfold, talking to you, sharing your memories, and capturing them for you forever. I can’t remember the last time I picked up a book but I’ve been reading all your stories. 🥲 I am so unbelievably honored to be doing something that makes me laugh, cry, and smile with you- or sometimes for you. Thank you all so much. 📸
