One of our favorite aspects of the job isn’t the photography, it is the planning. When Tim and Amelia called us to talk about their intimate wedding, they were focused on the ceremony while we were focused on the experience. We encouraged them to make the day their own, to plan the perfect date day. It turned out that included drinks at Detroit’s Sugar House. Drinks, laughs, and memories with your best friend…it doesn’t get much better. Slow down, be present, and enjoy the experience of your wedding day.

One of the greatest compliments I hear is when someone connects with our work. “I saw your work online and…”
From the very beginning, we shot from the heart. We place experience above all else. You can’t take a good photo if you aren’t present and having fun. Over the years, the adjectives to describe our work has narrowed and adjusted but what has been consistent is the emotions are real and the images, dare I say, are timeless.
We are truly honored to have worked with Mitchell and Allison on their wedding. 2026 is going to be an awesome year 🙏🏻👌🏻

Talk about a picturesque proposal! I absolutely love how you can feel the emotions unfold in the photos. Thomas did an incredible job, speaking from the heart and even speaking to Wendy in her native language at one point. I found myself getting teary-eyed as I watched from afar, seeing both of their dreams in each other come true in that special moment. Congratulations T&W! Best wishes on a beautiful union.

It’s proposal season!
We have so many proposals on the books, we are so excited! This past weekend, we photographed Neeraj and Shridula’s proposal at the Belle Isle Conservatory. While he casually brought her to check out the lily pond, Becky and I were blending in, enjoying the scenery and waiting for the moment to unfold. Both Neeraj and Shridula were all smiles, all day, as they enjoyed the lifetime of love that lies ahead for them.
