The Night Before ✨

Before Cait & Garrett exchanged vows in Puerto Vallarta last Saturday, they spent the evening surrounded by 60 of their favorite people who traveled from all over the world to celebrate alongside them. The laughter, the conversations, the sweet portraits, and the anticipation of the next day all became part of their story. The whole weekend was just perfect and we cannot wait to share more!

My absolute favorite thing is when parents and kiddos are ready and excited to go with the flow during their shoot! Oftentimes parents (preaching to myself here haha) have unrealistic expectations of what will come of their family session with young kids. It’s always music to my ears to hear “We’re up for anything!” ,at the beginning of a shoot, which is what this beautiful family said!! Biggest advice to parents of littles as photog who’s been doing this since the dinosaurs, haha, is be ready to have FUN!! Let loose! Especially if your little one is having a hard time. Don’t worry about looking silly but instead focus on your connection with your family because that’s truly what you want captured most of all!
