Just something on my mind…
I’ve been a photographer for 17 years, full time for 9.
In that time, I’ve worked really hard to make a session with me feel as easy, inclusive, and possible as I can. I offer payment plans. I let people book months in advance. I run sales. I do mini sessions. I build the day around making people feel comfortable, taken care of, and not left to figure it all out alone.
And I know the economy is hard. I know there are always a hundred reasons to wait.
But I also know this: I can’t keep being everyone’s “someday.”
Because someday has a way of staying someday forever.
My work is not getting less valuable. My experience is not getting smaller. My skill is not disappearing. If anything, every year I get better at creating an experience that feels calm, personal, guided, and worth it.
But I can’t sustain a business on compliments, saved posts, “one day,” and “I swear I’m going to book with you eventually.”
If you are serious about wanting to work with me, I really will do what I can to help make it work. That’s why the payment options, sales, advance booking, and flexible offers exist.
But if you’ve been waiting years for the perfect time, the perfect body, the perfect budget, the perfect reason, or the perfect version of yourself… I say this with love:
Maybe it’s time to stop waiting for someday.
Because someday is not guaranteed.
