All moms are superheroes... but this mom is on a whole other level. Each one of her boys wanted to be held during our session and she ever so calmly gave them each all the love they needed.

Being a photographer is getting the chance to witness one of the strongest bonds in life... the bond between a mom and child. In between the calm and the chaos, the happiness and the tears, there is so much love. I just feel so lucky I get to capture it. Before you know it, these photos will be all you have left of the beginning of your journey together... and I promise you will treasure them so, so much.

All I could think as I was editing this session from a few weeks back was how much it looks like we were in Ireland! This spot has a lot of meaning for me- it's located in the town I grew up in and is where my parents were married almost 40 years ago! So, when this beautiful expecting mama asked if we could use this location, my response was "Absolutely"!

I've only done two other sessions at the Old Stone Church, but I think I might have to get this spot back into my rotation for fall sessions this year 🙂 The hazy skies we had perfectly matched the Ireland feel, and little bunnies hopping around us added to the magic of the night. ❤️

This sweet bunch welcomed me in with big laughs and open arms and shared some of their delicious cookout with me before my ride home. As always, I am thankful for clients that feel like family and a job that feeds the soul, and sometimes even my belly!
