I stumbled across these photos recently… me, 5 years ago, finding THE wedding dress 🥹
It was during the pandemic.
Quiet. Stripped down to what really mattered.
No crowd. No big moment.
Just my mom, one of my closest friends, and my flower girl—my stepdaughter-to-be—by my side.
At the time, it felt small compared to what I thought wedding moments were supposed to look like. But now? It feels incredibly sacred.
Before the wedding.
Before the babies.
Before I became a mom of four.
I’m so grateful I had professional photos taken—even when it wasn’t the wedding day yet. Because this wasn’t just dress shopping. It was an intimate season of becoming a family. A moment of tenderness, anticipation, and love that deserved to be remembered.
Looking back at these photos now is part of what’s been calling me back into photography.
Not just to capture pretty images—but to honor moments like this. The quieter ones. The ones that don’t make a timeline, but end up meaning everything.
This is the heart behind how I want to serve my couples.
Not just on the wedding day—but before and after.
The anticipation.
The in-between moments.
The seasons that shape your story.
Because one day, you won’t just look back as a bride…
you might be looking back years later, in a completely different season of life, grateful that someone preserved it with care.
As I step back into photography—refining my vision and gently rebuilding my website—I’m reminded why this work matters so much to me 🤍
More to come soon. :)
