Sharing a little story time about the Sandoval Family ❤️

Just as I was packing up and getting ready to head home after my beach mini sessions, I saw this beautiful family taking maternity photos in front of the bridge. They looked so happy, so connected, and something in my heart nudged me to walk over and ask if I could take a few photos for them.

The reaction and conversation we had is something I’ll never forget. They told me they had driven FIVE hours from Redding to San Francisco for these photos. They had planned to bring their professional camera, but realized they forgot it at home, and couldn’t turn back.

They came all this way to capture this important moment, without a camera, and somehow I ended up right here with them, offering to take their photos. We said it together, that this was meant to be.

Moments like this remind me why I love what I do. Why I feel so blessed to call photography my job. Because sometimes the most meaningful sessions aren’t planned, aren’t paid, and aren’t on my schedule… they simply happen, unexpectedly, beautifully, and right when they’re supposed to. ❤️
