When you study masters like Rembrandt and Albert Watson, what they did best was bending light to tell their story.

This 'before' shot shows how much light was in the garage to start. Taking that scene and transforming it into 'a sultry burning the midnight oil' scene with color was incredibly fun and rewarding. This was all done on set with the knowledge of how light works and a blue and yellow color gel.. plus a key light.

I love this shot.

I've been away for a while. Some recipes need to stew for a little bit before they're ready.
I'm proud to present the completion of this latest project. Well over 1,500 hours and 6 months of shooting, editing, prep planning, and creating.
Mims Fine Art has partnered with T&E development to create Sacramento's first and only classic car model calendar.
We have created four distinct genres; a 24-month bikini, a 12-month Leather and Lace, a 12-month cowgirl, and a 12-month artistic n**e. each with its own artistic flair and creativity.
Each genre takes a distinct approach towards its own theme and these calendars are perfect for any man cave, garage, or auto affectionato.
We are having a launch/ release party on October 5th at Carmichael Park at the auto show.
We will have cars, calendars, and some of the models featured in the images.. as well as a few other surprises.
Come out and celebrate with us, enjoy the cars, and check out the art!

You would never know how hot it was based on this.. but I love the feeling of eternity that the layer of mountains bring.
