It’s almost one of my favorite times of the year. And I’m not just saying that cause my birthday happens to land around the same time 😆 Almond blossom season is coming and it won’t last long. Neither do my almond mini sessions! So now’s the time to book.

For a short window in mid-to-late February, the orchards in Northern California transform into the most magical spring backdrop. 🌸✨

These 20-minute mini sessions are perfect for families, couples, graduating seniors, or anyone looking for timeless photos in a beautiful blossom setting.

Well folks, I’m officially in the swing of fall family photo season, aka my busiest time of the year. 🤪 For anyone wanting a full session, I have limited weekend availability. As of today, I have the following weekend options for full sessions:

• Sun 10/13 - morning or sunset
• Sun 10/27 - morning only
• Sun 11/17 - morning only
• Sun 11/24 - morning only

And I still have mini session slots on:

• Wed 10/9 - 2 sunset slots in Natomas
• Sat 11/2 - 3 morning slots at the desert cactus garden
• Sat 11/2 - 2 sunset slots at William Land Park

Sacramento Fall Family Photo Mini Sessions

My recent session with the Tuttle family was a beautiful reminder of the power of patience and embracing spontaneity. Their daughter Olivia lives with Angelman Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects around 1 in 12,000-20,000 people. While Angelman Syndrome brings unique obstacles, Olivia’s resilience and light shine through every smile 💛

During their session, I had to let go of my own expectations on getting specific poses and embrace the little moments—the pauses, the candid glances, and the unexpected magic that unfolded naturally.

Her parents, Stephanie and Jake, coordinate an annual fundraiser walk here in Sacramento through the Angelman Syndrome Foundation. As the foundation’s largest fundraiser, the ASF Walk has provided funding for Angelman research and family support programs that have improved countless lives.
