Come bedazzle some books at the FIRST-EVER Craft Collective Night at Collective Lens Studio on Thursday, August 27th from 6:30-8:30pm!

Crafting has always been a part of my life. But it wasn’t until I was in my 30s that I found out which crafts I truly loved. Ever since I opened the doors of Collective Lens Studio, I’ve dreamt of creating a space where anyone and everyone could come to craft.

And I couldn’t be more excited to announce that romance author, Jules Kyle, will be at the inaugural Craft Collective Night signing books and bedazzling! Bring a book and a friend and let’s have the best time making these books SPARKLE!

If you want to preorder a copy of Royally Yours or Hopelessly Yours to bedazzle (and get signed by the author herself), there is a link in the sign-up (which you can find on all pages connected to this post).

Light snacks and water will be provided. BYOB, a book, and some friends and let’s bedazzle!

Fall Mini Session Locations! I’m thrilled to be offering 5 dates and 4 locations for mini sessions this year. It’s the biggest privilege to be able to capture your families year after year, and I can’t wait to freeze these moments this fall.

This Year’s Locations:
Sailor Bar Park - September 26th (AM) & October 4th (PM)
Land Park - October 3rd (AM)
Capitol Park Steps - November 7th (AM)
Old Sacramento - November 14th (AM)

Each session is 30 minutes, and there are two digital image packages available.

All past families will get an email tomorrow, August 10th at 6:00am with a link to sign up for sessions. The link will then be posted in my profile and on my website on Wednesday, August 12th!

It’s finally time to finish these projects that have made up my childhood ADHD Craft Graveyard for the last 30 years. I can’t believe how close some of them are to actually being done. Crossing my fingers that all four of these quilts and needlepoint projects will be finished by the end of 2026!

And capturing them on film? It’s just incredible.

I can finally share the BTS of the Top Knot quilt I made! Not going to lie… I felt like a genius as I was organizing the fabric and quilt blocks.

I’ve had several people ask about the fabrics that I used — they’re all Tilda fabrics and I got them from various suppliers (local quilting store, Michael’s, and Fat Quarter Shop).

Wedding details on film just hit different. It’s just one of many reasons that I started including film in all of my wedding packages. There’s a magic in film photography that just stops you and makes you really feel the moment. And I love coming back to that feeling time and time again with each couple and wedding.
