What an incredible week at The National Dog Show. The vibe was unreal. The energy, the people, the dogs, the crowds… everything came together in a way that reminded us exactly why we love this sport. Sarah and I enjoyed every late night, every long day, and every second behind the cameras.
Coming out strictly for candids instead of official win photos gave us a whole new perspective and a massive level of respect for the candid photographers who grind this out every single weekend. Whether we are friends or we dont even speak, RESPECT. The work, the hours, the hustle, the constant posting… you all deserve huge credit. Being in your shoes for the week truly opened our eyes.
It was also incredibly nice getting to see friends we don’t get to cross paths with often. The dog show community is one big traveling family and weeks like this make it feel even more special.
The show itself was run beautifully. Nearly 2000 dogs on Saturday and Sunday, an unbelievable amount of public attendance, and a show committee that executed everything at a world class level. To the exhibitors, handlers, judges, and especially the breeders of these well bred, purpose bred, purebred dogs, thank you. This sport would not exist without you, and your dedication is what keeps the standard high.
