It's been a while. I just hit the reboot button on the THOR*tography YouTube Channel for 2025. Who knows what's next!
Yes. I'm still here. Yes. Still shooting weddings, family life, and other special projects. I've drifted away from social media channels, but still very much on point looking through my viewfinder.

I don't do a lot of video work, but when I do it's generally for causes or projects that are really incredible. Projects like Shine Bright Saginaw. It's going to be pretty neat to see the way some old grain silos are transformed into beautiful parts of the landscape!

As some of you know, my 'day job' is working for the Saginaw Art Museum and The Temple Theatre. I spent the past few days on Mackinac Island with the Michigan Museums Association learning all kinds of information about how to make my own institutions better. Of course, while there, I took the time to take a photo or two. Special thanks to the Michigan Arts and Culture Council for support to make this trip happen. Michigan is a beautiful place.

Over the past six months, with support from a grant provided by the Michigan Arts and Culture Council, I participated in what is called the Rising Leaders program specifically designed for arts-oriented people in Michigan. Over the course of three, multi-day intensives I had the opportunity to gain some exceptionally valuable leadership tools. I also was able to sneak away in between activities to photograph the incredibly beautiful places where the workshops were held. It is an amazing thing to get to live in such a beautiful state. Thank you MACC for the support.

For the first time since February 2020, I made it back into the hospital to photograph a newborn life yesterday. All the feels just came rushing back. What a miraculous life! Congratulations Kristi Buetow

Hey everybody, I am going to be leading a photowalk in cooperation with the Saginaw Art Museum on October 13. I know it is still a ways off, but space is limited and so I recommend signing up early.
