A decision I didn’t make lightly, but one I feel really good about. 🤍

As a photographer, I’m trusted with some of the most precious moments in a family’s life. As a mom, protecting children has always been something I take seriously.

My work isn’t changing. The way I share it publicly is.

I’ll continue photographing beautiful family memories — just with a little more intention about what I put out into the world.

I’ve always loved using light as more than just a way to illuminate a photograph. I want it to become part of the story—to highlight, to accent, to create mood, and sometimes to make an image feel almost magical. It’s one of my favorite parts of creating an image.

Some people bring their own stories with them, and Jean Jean Alicia Elster certainly did!

Jean Elster is an award winning fiction author who was visiting Tucson and wanted to capture some portraits while she was here. We spent the afternoon exploring Barrio Viejo, surrounded by colorful homes, beautiful architecture, and the charm of old Tucson.

I loved getting to know the woman behind the books and capturing her personality, confidence, and the passion she has for storytelling.

What a beautiful reminder that every person has a story worth capturing.

There’s something so special about photographing the same family year after year 🥹❤️

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family every summer for the past few years, and getting to watch these kids grow has become one of my favorite parts. At this point, they know me and there’s a level of comfort (and chaos 😂) that makes these sessions so much fun.

It’s more than just taking pictures—it’s getting to capture the little moments and personalities that change so much from one year to the next. 🫶🏽

So grateful they keep coming back and letting me be a small part of their family’s story. ✨

Don’t stop documenting your family just because your babies aren’t babies anymore. 🤍

The toddler years are full of milestones, but the teenage years deserve to be remembered too. The laughter, the inside jokes, the personalities that are shining through, and even the moments when they’re almost too cool for photos (until they start having fun 😉).
