After my Wildside Nature Tours was removed from our schedule, due to the company closing, I was asked by the guests who were previously signed up if I could lead a Grand Teton Photo Tour this fall. Luckily my friends at Creeks and Critters stepped up and we are able to host a Fall Grand Teton tour after all.

I have a 2 extra spots if you have been thinking of Grand Teton this fall but thought it was too late. Here is your chance.

Photography opportunities abound during fall in the Grand Tetons. The golden colors of Autumn offer a brilliant backdrop to wildlife preparing for Winter. Bears are busy fattening up for the long period of cold, while elk and moose are in rut, dressed in their best and putting on a show. Al

Photographing a cougar has been very high on my "bucket list of subjects" for as long as I can remember. Seeing a puma also known as a mountain lion or cougar is exceptionally rare. Because they are solitary, highly elusive ambush predators, they actively avoid humans and rarely cross paths with people. You are far more likely to see signs of them, like tracks or cached prey, than the animal itself. This is why I traveled to the end of South America, to Patagonia, where puma sightings are more common, to see this elusive and beautiful cat.

It has been a busy summer so far, and we’re not done yet! A lot has changed around here, and I’m excited to share some updates with you.

The company I have been working for over the past four years, Wildside Nature Tours, has closed its doors after 33 years of operation. It was a bittersweet moment, as I have dedicated so much of my time and energy to this wonderful organization. Whether leading trips in the field or promoting upcoming adventures at birding and photo festivals, I have cherished every moment.

Wildside gave me incredible opportunities to explore some of the world's most breathtaking locations, including Cuba, the Galapagos Islands, the Amazon Rainforest in Peru, and many more. From witnessing the Sandhill Crane migration in Nebraska to photographing Grizzly Bears in Grand Teton National Park, each experience enriched my life and connected me with incredible guests and fellow guides.

With Wildside’s closure, I’m shifting gears and embracing new opportunities. I am thrilled to announce that I have taken over my two upcoming Kenya trips, which were previously offered through Wildside, and will now be conducting these tours independently.

Black Leopard Photo Safari in Kenya:

One of the most exciting ventures is my Black Leopard Photo Safari in Kenya, scheduled for this upcoming January. This is your final call to join and capture the elusive Black Leopards in their natural habitat. If photographing these majestic creatures has been on your bucket list, now is the perfect time to seize the opportunity!

The last day to sign up is August 21st.

Meet Petaka, she is known as Queen of Patagonia, and is easily recognized by her confident nature, beautiful silver coat, and fierce ability to protect her cubs from larger male pumas.
