This is the 3rd ANNUAL AMERICAN LEGION RIDERS HELL TO PARADISE PTSD AWARENESS RIDE that made their way through St Charles Friday morning.

It was an honor to witness this incredible event as more than 300 motorcycles and 550 riders rolled through our small town in support of PTSD awareness. The sight and sound of that many riders together was truly unforgettable—and absolutely beautiful.

Their mission statement for their ride:
"Dedicated to creating awareness, fostering understanding, and inspiring action to support those affected by PTSD, especially our veterans and first responders, as they navigate the journey to healing and hope."

I apologize for taking so long to share these! Once school got out, summer break seemed to take over for a moment.

To all of the seniors, I hope you're off to an amazing start as you begin this next chapter of your lives. As exciting as this season is, don't forget to slow down once in a while and take it all in. These moments go by faster than you think.

Now that these seniors have walked across the stage and received their diplomas, their high school journey has officially come to an end. 🎓

The assignments, exams, practices, performances, getting permission to go to the bathroom, and all the hard work that brought them to this moment are behind them. Ahead lies a new chapter filled with opportunities, challenges, adventures, and growth as they fully step into adulthood.

Congratulations to each and every graduate. I am so proud of all that you have accomplished and excited to see where life takes you next. Never stop believing in yourselves and chasing your dreams.

The St Charles Graduation ceremony officially began with the National Anthem directed by Mr. Matt Wicke, a welcome by Mr. Thomas White, the introduction of the board members given by Superintendent Mr. Ronald Stanley, and speeches from this year’s Salutatorian and Valedictorian. 🎓❤️

Congratulations to Salutatorian Carleigh Eastman and Valedictorian Brooke Dorey on such an incredible accomplishment! Their hard work, dedication, and leadership have truly paid off.

Both ladies gave wonderful speeches that were heartfelt, inspiring, and so well spoken. ✨
