By now they know exactly how much their lives are about to change, for the absolute better!

I walked through downtown St. Paul with these two and spent most of the evening thinking about how strange and fun it is, that a person can completely reshape a family before they’ve even arrived. All the kiddos are SO excited to meet their little sister.

A few more months until they meet the newest member of the crew. I can’t wait for baby snuggles and for my kids to have a new bestie! 😉

Congratulations to the Barthels!

These two have waited a real long time for this. It was everything they could’ve dreamed of and even more.

They eloped up north a few months ago, and planned the most spectacular party at home with the ones the love.

Every single detail of this day was perfect.
Micayla had the most beautiful bouquet crafted from a local flower farm, and for each bridesmaid, she chose a single flower from her bouquet with a meaning behind the flower that matched the love and connection she has with each bridesmaid.

Micayla and Cole poured their heart out planning this day. But it didn’t stop there, because everyone else poured their heart out for the couple. Micayla’s Aunt and Uncle turned their home into the most beautiful venue, with years of landscaping under their belt they transformed it into something INCREDIBLE. Growing their own flowers to add for decoration all around.

Even coming down to somebody really important to Micayla not being able to come, but to show up and surprise her last minute. Doing absolutely anything and everything to be there for their friends.

The way people show up for you, says a lot about who you are as a person. We may not all have a village, but we can all see what a village should look like through these two.

Some couples need a little time to warm up in front of the camera.

These two absolutely did not 😅

They were up for every idea, every pose, and every random suggestion I threw their way. By the end of the session they wanted to take “awkward photos,” but honestly they were laughing too hard for any of them to actually turn out awkward.

Just good people having fun together, which usually makes for the best photos anyway.

I swear half of my couples tell me they’re awkward in front of the camera.

Then we start shooting and about 10 minutes later they’re laughing, talking, and forgetting I’m even there.

Mandy and Andrew were so much fun to photograph. Easygoing, kind, and so sweet on eachother!

Finally, less than a year until their wedding day and honestly, I already can’t wait!
