I found myself looking back through last year's fall minis, since this year's are right around the corner, & the colors these two chose... are giving me all the warm & fuzzies!

(just a quick little tidbit: this heat has me *very* impatiently waiting for fall! anyone else?)

PS-These two lovebirds are going to tie the knot on October 7 & I am so excited for them! 😁 Can't wait to be there to photograph & document this day. 🤍

A glamorous "behind the scenes" shot of yours truly! 🤣

I'm solo for a short while for the first time in weeks, which is giving me time to work! (I try very hard to never be on my computer or phone while my kids are home/around.)

This sweet family has a special place in my heart. 🥹
Miss Rylee Kay joined our world at a whopping 3lbs. 2oz., & finally made it home after a 6.5 week NICU stay! When Kaylen asked me to drive the 4.5 hours to meet sweet Rylee and do their newborn session, there wasn't a second of hesitation. She was a dream baby, & she has herself a very proud mommy & daddy. 🤍

I am a bit delayed on sharing here; initially I didn't think to update all of you here on this page, but I realized earlier that there are some of you who may not have seen the post on my personal page explaining my absence lately.

My dad’s heart journey has been a long one, beginning in ‘21 with an aortic dissection.

A preventative checkup in '22 revealed an aneurysm that required immediate surgery. And unfortunately, a long list of complications from this surgery including paralysis, a 10 minute cardiac arrest 4 days post-op (that landed him multiple broken ribs) and ARDS, his heart was severely, severely damaged, to the point of no return.

And to bring you up to date on where we are now... On July 17, 2023...

He received a new heart!

Dad is doing really well considering all the things and we are hopeful for a full recovery.

I’d like thank all of you in advance for taking the time to think of our family, and would appreciate if you could spare a quick moment to send up a huge thank you to the Lord and praise him for the victories we have had up to this point, & also ask for a prayer or 12 for patience, strength, cooperation, motivation, & continued healing!

Thank you all, I appreciate each of you so very much. (:
