Success takes time. Growth is uncomfortable. And failure is part of the process.

I tend to play small and stay in my comfort zone, but that doesn’t get me where I want to go and it doesn’t help me reach my goals.

Taking the next step toward your goals is scary. Some people seem to move through uncertainty with ease, at least it seems that way to me.

We’re all at different points in our journeys but one thing we all have in common is we never arrive at perfection. We can always try to improve and be better. That’s how we reach our goals.

My goal as a brand photographer is to help capture your personality and/or your brand’s essence. Having a library of photos you can refer to for your business is monumental for consistent growth.

Do you spend a lot of time on social media? What kinds of content do you like to see or post?

I know I spend more time on social media than I should. I learn a fair amount of things while I scroll, but for me time spent here is often time wasted.

Now that I’m using social media as a way to maker my business I’m realizing how much effort I need to put in to using my time here wisely.

When it comes to presenting your small business on social media, it really helps to have quality content. I’ve been helping my mom for the past year curate content for her business and run her social media. It’s hard and I’m not super good at it, but I’m learning so much. Doing it for her is helping me gain the courage to do it for myself. So here’s to being bad at stuff, failing, learning and growing!
