Walking down the streets of downtown Anchorage.

I came across this beautiful street art. Found on a dumpster, depicting the beauty of two female faces.

The phrase “One man’s trash, is another man’s treasure” came across my mind.
We are seeing, and many women are experiencing oppression, and people treating women as trash. This piece of art really hits.

I can tell you this. These women depicted gave me strength today. They offered me power and a reminder that we are powerful and beautiful, wherever we are found.
Who are these women? They are daughters. They could be sisters or mothers? Maybe they are aunties and teachers. Maybe they are you, maybe they are me.
